Center of Excellence in IP technologies in Pakistan
PTCL in partnership with CISCO is establishing a center of Excellence in IP technologies at SEECS Campus H-12 NUST on 6th August at 1500 Hrs. The center will comprise one million dollar worth of CISCO Lab Equipment. The future of communication is shifting from a voice and voice related services to Media, IT and Telephony services. Delivering all these services via a common IP infrastructure is a key driver. All of the technologies have matured in a way to allow us to do that. The goal of this center at NUST is to develop a service delivery environment for PTCL with lots of improvements in traditional telecom areas and pursue research in this important field in partnership with CISCO experts.
May I request all faculty and maximum students to participate in this important. I am sure this will provide unique opportunity for research in this important technology to our faculty and students.
