How to increase your alexa rank
Sometimes it is not the amount of hours that you put in to promote your blog counts. Instead, how you utilize those hours to promote your blog counts.
These are some of the steps I had taken during the first 6 months in order to improve my Alexa rank:
- Writing / creating a number of posts (which is 260+ currently for this blog).
- Registering with digg, stumbleupon, twitter, etc.
- Participating in forums.
- Leaving comments / backlinks on other blogs.
- Writing guest posts for other bloggers.
- Registering with directories .
- Spreading the word on social networks .
- Getting people to follow your blog.
- Setting up a newsletter.
- Printing business cards with your blog address.
- Telling your friends about your new blog.
- Finding appropriate affiliate programs.
These are the steps that I had taken in order to improve my Alexa Ranking, but results were not satisfactory. Then I decided to change my approach and the results are there for everyone to see now.
