Common Question: How much will a web design / development cost me?
Many people ask this question and as much as I would like to say $X, I cannot! Simply because websites are not made into fit for all size because every business/organization have its own unique qualities which needs to reflect in their online persona. Think of buying a home, there is a huge price gap between a Mansion in Beverly hills and a crummy apartment in *insert a small town name*.
So how do I come up a magic number which is just right for you? I reach it by requesting it in the specification list. Your budget and your requirements help me choose the perfect solution for your needs. Instead of guesstimating a random number I like to come up with a carefully designed concept for your online needs.
However there are some standard guidelines you can use to reach a ball park figure.
- Basic WordPress Website: A basic WordPress website using a premium theme with up to 6 content pages including a blog, social media buttons runs anywhere between $399 – $599
- Premium WordPress Website: A large website with all the bells and whistles including features like premium members area, a small shopping area and 10+ content pages runs between $1000+
- Logo’s: Logo’s are not provided with any website package but are designed on request seperately. They can run anywhere between $300 – $600.
Some tips for best results:
Best websites are often created around clear goals. Questions like, what is my ideal user looking for?, Does my website clearly answers or solve their unique problem? help you define your website needs clearly.
