Air Blue Jet crash in margala hills Islamabad Pakistan

July 28, 2010 Wednesday morning, the day began with monsoon rains heavily showering in the capital city of Pakistan with most of the Margalla hills and surrounded area covered with thick fog and clouds. Many flights had been suspended or delayed due to bad weather early today.
A plane with 152 on board has crashed near the Pakistani capital of Islamabad. The Airblue flight to Islamabad, via Karachi, crashed in the Margalla Hills to the north of the city. A huge rescue effort has been launched, although it is being hampered by foggy and overcast conditions.
Latest reports said there were no survivors.
Airblue is a private airline based in Karachi which has been in operation since 2004.
Its fleet of next-generation Airbus A320 and A321 aircraft fly domestically within Pakistan and to five international destinations, including Manchester.
